Sean Duggan VP Advertising, SiriusXM shines light on efforts by government agencies and other interested parties to educate and persuade people to get a COVID-19 vaccination. Audio ads are being deployed across the SiriusXM network to reach those who are qualified to get the shot with broader targeting now that more people are eligible. At the same time, starting to see a pivot to a local multi-language outreach tailored to under-served communities. There is also a growing interest in using influential podcasts to connect the right COVID-19 messages to the right audience. Growing interest in using targeted audio ads by 2021 political campaigns and Sean is expecting 2022 and 2024 campaigns will start this summer.
